I love to write and teach others

I’ve had a passion for content and writing my entire life. I consider myself a great storyteller, something I believe is at the heart of all content writing. I also believe that content is critical in creating a delightful experience for customers.

I started my professional career as a technical writer, then moved into content marketing, content strategy, and UX writing. I enjoy taking complicated subjects and making them easy to understand. Obviously I love to write and create content, but I also love coaching others on content strategy. Because I like to share and learn from others, I ran the Content Strategy Applied USA conference for 2013 and 2014.  I’ve also created content style guides and conducted workshops on messaging mapping and information hierarchy.
